Body of woman with gunshot wound found

MANILA, Philippines—The body of a woman with a gunshot wound in the head was found in Port Area, Manila, on Saturday night.

Police said the victim, identified only as “Tisay,” was discovered by an unidentified tricycle driver between Block 9 Extension and Block 1 Dubai in Baseco Compound.

The woman, around 25 to 30 years old, about 5’4” tall and fair-skinned, was wearing a striped sleeveless blouse, red jacket, black maong shorts and pink sandals.

The victim bore a lone gunshot wound in the forehead and was brought to St. Yvan Funeral for safekeeping. Police have yet to establish a motive for the killing.
