SWU holds Young Cebuano Entrepreneurs’ forum

THE Master of Business Administration students of Southwestern University (SWU) under Prof. Wilfe Besin will hold a forum with Cebu’s young and successful entrepreneurs on today, Sept. 15 at 1 p.m. at the SWU Main Campus-AVR 3.

Business personalities who have created a niche in the business landscape of the city will serve as the speakers.

Former beauty queen and media personality Anna Maris Igpit will present the success story of Wicked Sisters Events + Socials. Igpit co-manages this newest Cebu-based full-service events planning group with close buddies and fellow beauty titleholders, Karla Paula Henry and Sean Elizabeth Maynard.

With creativity and charisma as his best assets, Jandrick “Jumbo” Bernaldez Climaco had gotten Filipino soles prancing with his hip and young shoe creation, Fushu! In the cutthroat cosmos of fashion, he made sure that he gives his customers what they want and what they need when it comes to shoe business; stylish, comfortable, simple and quality shoes!

The youngest among the speakers, 21-year-old Rachel Arandilla made the dream a reality when she opened Sprockets Cafe in April of this year with the help of her dad Noel and his close friend Alan Sienes. It started with the need for a place for artists, photographers, writers and other creative folks to hang out, relax and just talk about their work.

The seminar is for free.
