Run for Community set tomorrow

RUNNING buffs gather at the Fuente Osmeña rotunda this Saturday for the Run for Community Empowerment of the Bag-ong Sugbu Foundation Inc.,

The event is held in partnership with the Abante Barangay Movement and Urban Poor Alliance (UP ALL), members of other non-government groups and people’s organizations like the Cebu Coalition for Food Security.

Aside from running enthusiasts, urban poor communities, students, and non-government organization members are expected to join the race, which will feature 3-kilometer, 5K and 10K categories.

This fund-raising activity will benefit the urban poor communities, homeowner’s associations and different barangays of Cebu City. /CORRESPONDENT DALE G. ROSAL
