USPF holds Dr. Ingrid Sala Santamaria exhibit

/ 07:17 AM September 13, 2012

THE University of Southern Philippines Foundation (USPF) is hosting the Dr. Ingrid Sala Santamaria (ISS) 50 years of music exhibit after Santamaria’s successful concert at the Marco Polo Hotel.

Dr. Santamaria has a close relationship with USPF. Her father, the late Salvador Sala, composed the USPF loyalty song, which is part of USPian students and alumni.

Ingrid’s love for music and education enabled her to seal a partnership between the university and the Salvador and Pilar Sala Foundation.

The partnership has produced graduates of music, including USPian alumni Marc Hamlet Mercado, Reynaldo Abellana and Christian Roy Abais.

The exhibit, through the efforts USPF Vice President for External Relations Lourdes Jereza, is ongoing until tomorrow, Sept. 14 at the Don Agustin Jereza building in USPF Lahug campus.
