Binay asks Filipinos to pray for Roxas’s success in DILG

MANILA, Philippines–Vice President Jejomar Binay called on the public to pray for the success of his erstwhile rival, incoming Interior Secretary Mar Roxas.

“Ipanalangin po natin na s’ya ay maging matagumpay (Let us all pray for his success) in being the Secretary of DILG,” Binay said in an interview Tuesday in Pampanga.

“Samalahan na lang po natin ng panalangin si Secretary Roxas,” he added.

Binay and Roxas have been pitted against each other since they ran in the 2010 vice presidential race.
