Woman found hanging by the neck in Camotes

A 19-YEAR-OLD woman was found hanging dead from a mango tree outside her house in barangay Western Poblacion, San Francisco town on Camotes Island, Cebu.

Remia Boyaban used a nylon rope in hanging herself, said police.

The father of the woman, Rico Boyaban, told police that his daughter had just been fired as a helper after her employer in Manila accused her of stealing P5,000.

Rico said his daughter was embarrassed because of the accusation and this may have driven her to commit suicide.
