MORE rains, especially at night,  lie ahead for Cebu this week due to a low pressure area east of Mindanao, the Mactan office of the state weather bureau Pagasa said.

The  LPA located 987 km east of Mindanao may cause  thunder storms in Central Visayas with moderate to heavy rains in  the next few days, saidActing Pagasa Mactan chief Alfredo Quiblat.

Coastal waters are moderate to strong due to this and an inter-tropical convergence zone (ITCZ), Quiblat said.
