PESO Negros Or. to hold recruitment activity

MORE than 500 overseas jobs await jobseekers in Negros Oriental during the special recruitment activity on Sept. 17 to 19 at the Public Employment Service Office (PESO) in Capitol area, Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental.

Recruitment agencies will be hiring workers for Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam and Doha, Qatar.

Around 250 domestic helpers are needed for Kuala Lumpur, Penang in Malaysia and Hongkong.

Provincial PESO focal person Jose Ramon Benedicto announced the ongoing interviews for workers needed by First Balfour, a construction firm under the Lopez Group Company. First Balfour is hiring heavy equipment operators who possess license restrictions 1238 or 238 and residing in Dumaguete City or Valencia town.

Applicants with Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (Tesda) and Associated Construction Equipment Lessors (ACEL) certificate, three to four years of driving experience for road projects or quarrying.

Interested applicants need to submit their resume and photocopies of their 1238 or 238 license, Tesda certificate, ACEL certificate and employment certificate.

Interviews are ongoing at the Provincial PESO office from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
