Death inside Quiapo theater
A 44-YEAR-OLD regular movie theater patron died late Friday afternoon inside the cinema he frequented in Quiapo, Manila.
Ernesto Nona, of F. Blumentritt Street in San Juan City, died apparently of a heart attack at the 2nd floor lobby of the Bravo Theater along Quezon Boulevard in Quiapo.
Police Officer 2 Jupiter Tajonera, of the Manila Police District (MPD) homicide section, said that Nona was identified through his mobile phone.
Police said Nona approached two moviegoers minutes before the incident, apparently to seek help. The two told police Nona seemed weak and was sweating profusely.
They told Nona to sit on the theater lobby bench, but he grasped for breath after doing so and fell unconscious.
When they checked his pulse, Nona was already dead. They immediately reported the incident to the theater management. Jeannette I. Andrade
