Cesafi jrs all-stars cast bared

PLAYERS from the reigning champions University of the Visayas, last year’s runners-up Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu, the University of San Carlos and dark horse, Cebu Institute of Technology-University dominated the lineups for the Cesafi juniors all star game this Sunday at the Cebu Coliseum.

Five players each were selected from UV and CIT-U for the south squad. Leading the list is league MVP, Paul Desiderio, who will be joined on the squad by his UV mates, Prince Canete, John dela Cerna, Datu Yusuf Samal and Ralph Dinolan. CIT-U has Mark Kong, Kevin Ebona, Kresner Jabines, Marl Laguna and Charles Singson. The University of Cebu will be represented by Miguel Gastador and Andrey Armenion while the University of Southern Philippines Foundation will be bannered by John Isok, Edwin Villarta and Marlon Gahi.

Selected to play for the north squad were USC’s Dolan Adlawan, Lloren Piad, Clint Suelto, Luke Bulan and Juneo Antigua. Representing SHS-AdC are Arc Gabrielle Araw-Araw, Rendell Senining, Dawn Ochea, Jair Igna and Miguel Competente. The Cebu Eastern College players on the team are John Zosa, Michael Balankig and Jesus Grijaldo while Don Bosco and the University of San Jose-Recoletos will have one representative each with John Matias and Sean Espiritu, respectively. /Correspondent Jonas Panerio
