GRACE Bostolits trounced Quiot-San Roque, 101-95, last Sunday to advance to the final of the Upper Bayanihan Catholic Association (UBCA) Basketball Camp Association-2012 basketball tournament at the Quiot Sports Complex.
In the winner-take-all final this Sunday, Grace Bostolits will battle Mayupay-ICC Pharmacy, which tripped Yati-San Isidro, 87-83.
Bostolits led by double-digits in the first two periods but Quiot-San Roque staged a blistering, 28-14 run in the third to close in at, 69-72 entering the final quarter.
However, Bostolits outscored Quiot in the fourth, 29-26 for the six-point victory.
Mike Malalay and Roger Quitoy powered Bostolits with 21 points apiece while Ronnie Ruiz paced Quiot-San Roque with 26 points.
Earlier, Barok Lasque score 30 points in Mayupay-ICC Pharmacy’s close win against Yati-San Isidro led by the 22 points of Romel Garcia.
