RAJAH Renoel Pael (9W-0L-1D, 4 KOs) of the TI Cebu -Flores Boxing gym of Mandaue City will defend his Philippine Boxing Federation (PBF) bantamweight title against Arlon “Turbo” Batingal of Butuan City on Sept. 15 in Siquijor.
Pael won the flyweight division of the GMA boxing reality series Buhay Boksingero last year. He acquired his PBF belt last May when he stopped Roger Echavez in seven rounds in Lazi, Siquijor. In his last fight, Pael beat the previously unbeaten Louie Arlos of Bacolod City by split decision in a non-title bout held in Compostela, Cebu last July 22. The unbeaten Pael will once again fight under the banner of the Princesa Bulakna Resort of Siquijor.
Batingal (6W-4L, 3 KOs) beat Michael Bastasa by unanimous decision in his last fight in Agusan del Sur last July 25.
Fighting on the undercards are JR Salvador vs. Richard Rosales (6 rounds), Alvin Aresgado of Siquijor vs. Arnel Caoktoy (6 rds) and Bryan Samson of Siquijor vs. Jerome Baja (4 rds).
