PEOPLE should be more responsible in using plastic bags.
Philip Tan, president of the Mandaue Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI), gave this observation on how to prevent the plastic bags from being thrown in canals clogging, drainange and worsening floods in urban centers.
Tan, who is against the banning of plastic bags, said during yesterday’s 888 News Forum at the Marco Polo Plaza that he was speaking only for himself as a businessman.
Tan is also the president of Wellmade Motors and Development Corp.
