USC still unbeaten in SBP

THE UNIVERSITY of San Carlos remained undefeated in the Small Basketeers of the Philippines (SBP) class after they trounced the University of the Visayas, 33-21, in the Milo-backed Best  Twin Tournament yesterday at the Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu basketball courts along Mango Avenue, Cebu City.

In other games in the same class, the Cebu Eastern College asserted its might in defeating Don Bosco, 50-19. In the D-League, USC North beat Nissi Academy, 56-29, while USC-South trounced Don Bosco/Savio, 57-27.

In the D-League Passerelle games, SHS-Ateneo defeated Don Bosco, 55-44 even as USC-St. Joseph beat Don Bosco-Magone, 31-28.

USC North C also demolished the University of San Jose-Recoletos B, 59-45. USC North B also emerged victorious over Nissi Academy, 37-23. /Correspondent Jonas Panerio
