PDEA says it nabbed top Naga drug lord
NAGA CITY–Agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) captured a woman in her fifties, whom they described as a notorious drug pusher, in a buy-bust operation in this city on Monday.
Aracely Arbuez, 58, of Sagrada Familia, Barangay Peñafrancia, was arrested after she was caught selling at least 10 grams of shabu near the gate of the Peñafrancia Church here, said Vidal Bacolod, PDEA provincial officer.
Bacolod said Arbuez, alias Nanay Silay, has been on the PDEA watch list for more than 10 years since she had been suspected of being the biggest shabu supplier in Isla Sison, which is known as the “drug capital” of the city.
Arbuez was captured with alleged fellow pusher, Gerardo Salcedo, 41, of Barangay Dayangdang, Naga City, who was present during the buy-bust operation.
