Yellow rainfall alert raised over Valenzuela

MANILA, Philippines—The state weather bureau issued a yellow rainfall advisory over Valenzuela City Wednesday night.

Heavy to intense (10.0-15.0mm/hr) rainfall was observed over Valenzuela for the past two hours and most likely to continue for the next two hours, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration posted in its Twitter account at 10:20 p.m.

Light to moderate (1.0-7.0 mm/hr) rains was observed over the rest of Metro Manila for the past two hours, Pagasa said, adding that occasional moderate to heavy rains for the next two hours can be expected.

Pagasa warned those living in low-lying areas and those located near the river and creek channels against possible flooding.
