Limasawa, Avenido win in customs basketball

THE Limasawa Customs Brokerage bombed Alin Customs Brokerage, 99-82, for its fourth win in five games to share second place with Green in the standings in the while Avenido Brokers drubbed Kentkyle Cuisine, 95-80, for a 2-3 card in the Customs-3rd Major Alfonso Abbariao Cup-2012 basketball tournament at the Basak San Nicolas gym.

Limasawa trailed by three points at the half, 38-41 but unloaded a back-breaking, 30-20 run in the third for a, 68-61, advantage going into the final quarter where it sealed the 17-point demolition.

Taks Moral fired a game-high 30 points for Limasawa while Edwin Estorgio and Ryan Villomo paced Alin Brokers (1-4) with 18 and 17 markers, respectively.

Earlier, an undermanned Kentkyle Cuisine took a slim, 16-14 lead at the start, but fell behind the rest of the way as the Avenido Brokers won by 15 points.

Rito Castillo and Yol Arevalo led Avenido Brokers with 18 and 15 points, respectively while while Ramil Aninion and Kenneth Maningo paced Kentkyle with 25 and 17 markers, respectively.
