IBP hosts int’l conference

VICE President Jejomar Binay and Executive Secretary Paquito Ochoa Jr. will welcome presidents of premiere bar organizations in the Asia-Pacific region who will gather in Manila for the 23rd Conference of the Presidents of Law Associations in Asia (POLA).

The conference will be held today, Aug. 27 until Aug. 29 at the Marriott Hotel in Pasay City. The Integrated Bar of the Philippines is host of this year’s conference, one of the highlights of the IBP’s 40th founding anniversary celebration.

Binay will keynote the opening ceremonies on Aug. 28, while Ochoa will be at the welcome cocktails today.

The presidents of International Bar Association, Inter-Pacific Bar Association, LAWASIA and Union International Des Avocats will also attend.
