Crash survivor shows up at Palace wake

/ 12:44 AM August 26, 2012

Unseen by many, Senior Insp. Jun Paolo Abrazado, 26, the aide of Interior Secretary Jesse Robredo who survived the crash, slipped into the Kalayaan Hall at about 5:15 a.m. Saturday.

Standing in front of the flag-draped coffin, Abrazado placed both his hands on the bier and bowed his head in prayer. He then walked to the altar where he knelt down and appeared to pray again.

Abrazado, who was with his parents and two other female companions, came at an hour when there were very few mourners or reporters at the vigil. The group stayed for about 30 minutes.

Ronald Llamas, the presidential political adviser and Cavite Rep. Joseph Abaya could be seen attending to Abrazado’s group. Rogelio Constantino Medina
