Aboitiz Group collects blood for Red Cross
THE Aboitiz Group, together with the Philippine Red Cross – Cebu Chapter and Banilad Barangay Council in Cebu City, held a blood letting and blood typing activity last July 28 at the Banilad Sports Complex.
Employees of Aboitiz Equity Ventures Inc., Aboitiz Foundation and Balamban Enerzone Corp. donated blood, while more than 450 residents availed of the blood typing. Dubbed “Dugo Ko, Buhay Mo,” the activity will be held at the Banilad Sports Complex from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Most of the residents were pre-selected by the barangay officials.
The activity, dubbed “Dugo Ko, Buhay Mo” aimed to collect blood for Red Cross Cebu chapter. The Aboitiz Group is planning to hold the project an annual event nationwide.
