The victim, identified as Diana Viniales, a first year high school student, was found dead in a grassy portion of a vacant lot in Barangay (village) Sto. Tomas, Aliaga, Nueva Ecija around 8:00 a.m., a Region III police incident report said.
Her body sustained wounds in different parts of her body and naked from the waist down, the report said.
Recovered from the crime scene were the victim’s underwear, short pants and two strands of hair.
Investigation disclosed that Viniales went missing last Wednesday after she failed to return home.
The victim’s body was taken to Balot Funeral Parlor for autopsy as further investigation was being conducted for the possible arrest and identification of the suspect.
