Parks powers Bulldogs past Falcons in UAAP
THE National University Bulldogs leaned once more on the game-long brilliance of reigning league MVP Bobby Ray Parks to pull off an 81-77 win over the resilient Adamson Soaring Falcons in the 75th UAAP men’s basketball tournament yesterday at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.
After scoring 35 points in a loss to La Salle last time out, the second-year phenom scored 31 points and added eight rebounds and five assists to tow his team to the win and improve its record to 5-3 (win-loss).
Emmanuel Mbe also added 14 points and 20 boards.
Adamson fell to 1-7 and played most of the game without starting center Rodney Brondial, who was ejected from the game for punching NU’s Jeoff Javillonar in the first period.
