Robredo’s remains to be brought to Palace Friday

MANILA, Philippines—The body of the late Interior Secretary Jesse Robredo will be brought to the Malacañan Palace Friday.

Robredo’s remains will be lying in-state at the Kalayaan Hall of Malacañang until Sunday, the Department of Education (DepEd) said in an advisory.

“Students and DepEd employees will line up the route from Villamor Airbase to Malacañan and wave yellow flags as a sign of giving honor to the late Secretary,” it said.

His remains are expected to arrive 10:30 a.m. at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport from Naga City.

They will pass through Naia road from Villamor Airbase, then through Roxas Boulevard, Padre Burgos Street, Finance Road, Ayala Boulevard, Ayala Bridge, Solano Street, and then to the Malacañan Palace, it said.
