Lecture-demonstrations will be held in an orchid and garden show starting at 3 p.m. from Aug. 31 to Sept. 10 at the Hardin Ng Bulaklak area of Quezon Memorial Circle, Quezon City.

Jun Golamco talks about vandaceous and phalaenopsis orchids on Aug. 31, while Zac Zarian will discuss money-making opportunities in fruit trees on Sept. 1.

Vic de Rona will show how to do penjing, the art of Chinese bonsai and potted landscapes, on Sept. 2. On Sept. 3, Golamco will share tips on growing pitcher plants.

Guidelines in practical home landscaping will be the topic of Jimmy Floro on Sept. 4.  On Sept. 5, Norby Bautista will talk about pest and disease control and prevention.
