MANILA, Philippines—Search and retrieval operations will be resumed Wednesday morning following the accident of a German diver who suffered decompression sickness upon ascent, the military said.

“Because of the minor accident this afternoon we conducted an assessment of the ongoing recovery operations, and we will continue the operations tomorrow after breakfast,” Major General Eduardo del Rosario of the Southern Luzon Command told reporters in a press briefing in Masbate, which was also aired over television.
