Cesafi football opening matches end in draws

/ 07:30 AM August 20, 2012

GAMES in the opening day of the tertiary football competition of the 2012 Cebu Schools Athletic Foundation Inc. at the football field of the Cebu City Sports Center ended in draws.

The 1-all draw that ended the opening match between the University of Cebu (UC) and the University of the Visayas (UV) seemed contagious as the next match that featured the 2011 first runner-up University of Southern Philippines Foundation (USPF) going up against the University of San Jose Recoletos (USJ-R) also ended in a scoreless draw.

Pedro Agustin Diao found the back of the net for UV while Axel Jay Paril scored the equalizer for UC.
