Plane crash survivor is a new father
MANILA, Philippines – The survivor of the ill-fated Piper Seneca plane that crashed in the waters off Masbate Saturday afternoon is a new father to a 9-day-old baby, Transportation Secretary Manuel “Mar” Roxas said.
Roxas said Interior Secretary Jesse Robredo’s aide, P/Senior Insp. Jun Abrazado sustained minor injuries but was still placed under neurological observation.
“Abrazado (is) conscious with a few injuries (although) none visibly serious. Both arms (are) in slings but (there is) no blood, no bandages,” Roxas said.
“(He is) under neurological observation by doctors because he lost consciousness yesterday. He’s also a new father (to a) 9-day -old child,” he added.
Robredo and the two pilots, who were also onboard the plane, remained missing.
