House tackles DOLE budget

MANILA, Philippines – The House committee on appropriations on Tuesday resumed deliberations on the proposed national budget for 2013.

Department of Labor and Employment Secretary Rosalinda Baldoz was present to defend her agency’s proposed budget next year.

The proposed budget of DOLE for 2013 was P8.083 billion, 11.7 percent higher than its current year’s budget.
