Power Sports Racing’s Jon Eleazar Adlawan won the pro and pro-lite titles in last Sunday’s Mayor Michael Rama National Invitational Motocross Cup at the South Road Properties.
Adlawan beat fellow Cebuano Juvenile Abellar and John Flores, who placed second and third, respectively. Abellar and Flores also placed second and third, respectively, in the pro-elite division.
Flores didn’t go home without a crown as he topped the intermediate division while Ian Reyes placed second followed by Cyril Tariman at third.
In the veterans’ A division, motocross legend Siegfred Ornopia showed he still has what it takes to be a champion after he topped the division over fellow veteran Pipo Rubi and Ricky Coca, who settled for runner-up places.
Ornopia also lorded the Veterans B division while Roscel Gungog placed second and Jun Enriquez placed third.
In the Novice Open production, Jougee Basco emerged on top while Peping Mar placed second and Dongkey Sanchez wound up third place.
Sanchez managed to bag the local and open enduro crowns, beating Jc Obligado and Alex Abalo, who placed second and third, respectively, in both divisions.
Butch Flores ruled the executive division while Kent Limpag topped the underbone/Panta division. Ken Ornopia lorded the peewee division while the mini division title went to Jp Cuesta. James Matol placed first in the beginners open production.
