Man killed over missing rice cooker

TWO men were killed in separate attacks in two hours last Sunday in Cebu City.

At 7:17 p.m., a 16-year-old boy  stabbed dead a 30-year-old man, who accused the boy of stealing the man’s rice cooker, in barangay Cogon-Pardo.

Alexes Bildad died after he was stabbed several times in the body and leg.

The attack happened at the height of an argument over the missing rice cooker.

Bildad was rushed to the hospital for treatment but he didn’t make it alive.

The boy was arrested and detained at the police station.

At past 9 p.m., a 21-year-old man shot dead a 44-year-old driver over a personal grudge.

Clyde Sulla was shot in the right eye. Witnesses identified the shooter as Richard Roxas, who escaped after the attack./Correspondent Chito O. Aragon
