Senate suspends work anew

MANILA, Philippines — Work in the Senate was suspended anew on Thursday following massive flooding triggered by continuous heavy rains since Monday.

In a statement, the Senate’s Public Relations and Information Bureau said that Senate President Juan Ponce Enrile declared the suspension of work for all Senate employees at 6:30 a.m.
