Work in government offices, classes still suspended in Cavite, says governor

MANILA, Philippines—Cavite Governor Jonvic said floods in Cavite has subsided but works in government offices except those employees performing essential task are still suspended.

“Employees performing essential task lang ang kailangang pumasok,” Remulla said in an interview over Radyo Inquirer 990AM.

He said classes on all levels in both public and private schools are suspended Wednesday.

Remulla added that they will assess the situation first and make the necessary announcement by 6 p.m. on whether classes will be suspended on Thursday or not.

He added that as of 3 a.m., families in evacuation centers have returned to their houses.
