Rainfall warning back to red in Metro Manila—Pagasa

MANILA, Philippines—Rainfall warning was upgraded by the state weather bureau from green to red in Metro Manila Tuesday morning.

Due to the effects of the series of thunderstorms associated with the southwest monsoon, heavy to intense rainfall (> 30.0mm/hr) can be expected within the next two hours, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration in an advisory issued at 4:30.a.m. said.

Residents in high risk areas were advised to take precautionary measures.
