Vice President Jejomar Binay’s net satisfaction rating slid in June, reflecting the five-point drop in the rating of President Benigno Aquino III in the same period, a recent Social Weather Stations survey found.
Binay’s net satisfaction rating fell from an “excellent” +74 (81 percent satisfied, 7 percent dissatisfied) in March to a “very good” +69 (78 percent satisfied, 9 percent dissatisfied) in June.
The net satisfaction rating is the difference between the percentage of satisfied responses and the percentage of dissatisfied responses.
In an earlier report, Aquino’s net satisfaction rating slid from a “very good” +51 (69 percent dissatisfied, 18 percent dissatisfied) in March to +46 (64 percent satisfied, 18 percent dissatisfied) last month.
The net satisfaction rating of Senate President Juan Ponce Enrile dropped by four points from +43 (62 percent satisfied, 18 percent dissatisfied) in March to +39 (56 percent satisfied, 18 percent dissatisfied), both “good” according to SWS.
Speaker Feliciano Belmonte’s net satisfaction ratings also fell by two points, from +17 (40 percent satisfied, 22 percent dissatisfied) in March to +15 (37 percent satisfied, 22 percent dissatisfied) in the recent survey.
Of the public officials in the survey, only Justice Renato Corona posted gains —from -4 in March to zero in June, with both figures falling under the “neutral” category.
The survey also covered the net satisfaction rating of government institutions. Inquirer Research
