MANILA, Philippines –  Quezon City  Mayor  Herbert  Bautista  admitted that  he was  not happy  suspending  classes  in the  area during  bad weather but said he  would rather keep  his constituents  safe  than sorry.

“Alam mo medyo malungkot din ako dahil ayaw ko ng nagsususpend ng nagsususpend dahil baka wala ng natutununan ang mga bata especially now dito sa Quezon City, medyo marami tayong mga holidays,” Bautista said in an interview over Radyo Inquirer 990AM.

“Ayaw po naming mag-declare kaya lang baka mamamaya may masaktan, may magkasakit, tayo pa ang masisi…So mabuti na rin ho yung safe kesa naman sorry tayo,”  he added.
