Wolves, Reds log routs
THE CONVERGYS Wolves and the Eperformax Reds ended their elimination round campaigns with lopsided victories in the northern division of the 2012 Sun Cellular E-League for Basketball at the City Sports Club-Cebu Gym.
The Wolves defeated the Kyocera Frontiers, 94-43, while the Reds had little truoble disposing of the Executive Boutique Lycans, 98-63.
In the southern division, the Sykes Pioneers escaped the Accenture Sharks, 66-60.
Ellison Rivera piled up 17 points, John Alexon Loon finshed with 16 points, Ibhar Je Del Mar scattered 14, while Joshua Ryan Yam tallied 12 in a show of balanced offense for the Wolves, who tied the Aegis Vipers and defending champion Stream Ingenyouity for the number one to three sports with their ninth win in 10 games.
