CDN-DYLA loses as NBAC opens
THE CEBU DAILY NEWS/DYLA team lost to the Cebu Catholic Television Network (CCTN), 57-86, in the opening day of the Newsmen Basketball Association of Cebu (NBAC) tournament yesterday at the Apas Sports Complex.
The CDN/dyLA-CCTN matchup was one of three games held in the resumption of the league for lcoal newsmen.
In the opening match, ABS-CBN/dyAB also suffered a loss after being downed by newcomer TV5, 92-85 in a come-from-behind fashion.
In the second game, GMA-7/dySS, won against the Freeman-Bombo Radyo,82–72.
The Siloys still has five more games to be played with tis next assignment slated Aug. 12 against The Freeman/Bombo Radyo.
