MANILA, Philippines—Classes in some areas were cancelled Monday due to heavy rains and flooding, the Department of Education announced via Twitter.
These are:
- Pasay (preschool, elementary and high school in both private and public schools)
- Mandaluyong (preschool, elementary and high school in both private and public schools)
- Quezon City (preschool, elementary and high school in both private and public schools)
- Valenzuela City (Deato Elementary School, Coloong Elementary School, Isla Elementary School, Pasolo Elementary School, Pio Valenzuela Elementary School, PR San Diego Elementary School, Tagalag Elementary School, Wawang Pulo Elementary School, Polo National High School)
- Malabon (preschool, elementary and high school in both private and public schools)
- Taguig (preschool, elementary and high school in both private and public schools)
- San Juan (preschool, elementary and high school in both private and public schools)
- Marikina (preschool to high school in Malanday, Concepcion Uno, Tumana and Nangka)
- San Mateo, Rizal (preschool, elementary and high school in both private and public schools including Eastern Star Academy)
- Rodriguez, Rizal (all levels)
- UE Manila and UE Caloocan (pre-school to high school)
