A dismissed police officer tagged in a Pasay City shooting spree that killed a man and wounded another ended up behind bars Friday night, though he was initially booked for carrying an unlicensed handgun.
Quezon City policemen arrested PO1 Rupert Baluyot for failing to produce papers for the .45-cal. pistol he was carrying as he was about to enter Camp Crame through Boni Serrano.
Only after receiving word from a TV news team that they established that Baluyot was the same person suspected of killing Virgilio Hilario and wounding Pedro Deleva before dawn in Pasay also on Friday. Julie Aurelio
