City Hall vacancies unfilled over low budget
City Hall has at least 76 vacancies for regular positions.
These positions have not been filled yet due to budget constraints.
Atty. Evangeline Abatayo, acting chief of the Human Resources and Development Office (HRDO), said the city only has P2 million left in its personnel budget or just enough to hire three new regular employees.
Abatayo said several City Hall offices have been requesting that the vacancies be filled up.
Almost all City Hall departments have vacancies, Abatayo said.
She said City Hall vacancies were caused by early resignations and retirements.
