THE Department of Science and Technology (DOST) in Negros Oriental is now accepting applicants for this year’s junior level science scholarships.
All regular third year college students enrolled in science and technology courses in Silliman University and Negros Oriental State University are requested to apply.
Applicants must have a general weighted average of 83 percent and has no failing grade in any subject; not a recipient of any other scholarship; have no pending applications for immigration abroad; physically and mentally fit; and a resident of the city or municipality in the last four years.
The scholarships cover two programs — S&T Scholarship and Merit Scholarship.
Accomplished application form must be submitted together with the scholarship requirements to the DOST Provincial office at 24 Yakal Street, Daro, Dumaguete City (near old Daro Market) on or before Aug. 24.
Requirements include two recent 1×1 ID picture, copy of grades obtained during the first two years in college.
The date of examination will be on Sept. 22.
