Senate suspends work due to heavy rain

MANILA, Philippines — The Senate on Wednesday suspended its work anew due to heavy rain spawned by typhoon “Gener.”

Senate President Juan Ponce Enrile suspended work at 2 p.m. and employees, personnel and staff of the Senate were allowed to go home early. Kate Evangelista
