Work in Metro Manila courts suspended Monday—SC spokesperson

MANILA, Philippines—The Supreme Court suspended work in all courts in Metro Manila and outlying areas affected by storm “Gener,” its acting spokesperson, Gleo Guerra, said Monday.

As of 3 p.m., Guerra said acting Chief Justice Antonio Carpio had suspended work at the Supreme Court, Court of Appeals, Sandiganbayan, Court of Tax Appeals and all other courts in Metro Manila.

Guerra said it was up to the executive judges in affected provinces to declare suspension of work.
