‘Green warning signal’ up over Metro Manila

MANILA, Philippines – The state weather bureau on Monday issued a green warning signal in Metro Manila, alerting residents against flooding due to heavy rains.

Flooding is threatening in low-lying areas and those located near river channels, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical Astronomical Services Administration said.

Moderate to heavy rains were expected and would likely continue for the next three hours.
