RIFLES, pistols, motorcycles and cash all totaling P500,000 are at stake in the first ever “Y101 Armscor Run” slated on July 24 at the Asia Town IT Park, Lahug.

With the unique partnership of Y101 FM and Armscor, a new concept for today’s most popular sport — running, will hit the streets of Cebu with a challenging 10.1-kilometer Military Obstacle which offers an Armscor 1911A1 Classic 9mm pistol worth P60,000 and a pink colored Tanfolio Italy-made 22 caliber pistol worth P70,000 to the top male and female finishers, respectively.

“We wanted to try something new, and we came up with this idea of having an obstacle so that it would be challenging for the participants,” said CITOM Chairman and Y101 president Sylvan “Jack” Jakosalem during yesterday’s official launch of the running event at the Parklane International Hotel.
