‘Declare SRP venue for Pedro’s Mass a historical site’
THE Executive Council for the Canonization of Blessed Pedro Calungsod is asking the Cebu City Historical Commission to declare the site of the National Thanksgiving Mass on Nov. 30 as a historical site.
The executive council’s co-chairmen Cardinal Vidal and Cebu Archbishop Jose Palma requested that the local templete to be erected in the South Road Properties (SRP) would be declared as a historical site so that the significance of the thanksgiving mass would be remembered by every Filipino.
The National Thanksgiving Mass will be an event of significance in the country and will be attended by local, national and international guests including President Benigno Aquino III and Vice President Jejomar Binay./Intern Argie Baquero
