Carpio, De Castro, 2 law deans on JBC day 3 interview

MANILA, Philippines–The Judicial and Bar Council on Thursday will continue its interview of candidates for the Chief Justice post.
Scheduled for interview are University of the East law dean Amado D. Valdez and Acting Chief Justice Antonio T. Carpio in the morning session.
In the afternoon will be Supreme Court Associate Justice Teresita J. Leonardo-De Castro, and former Ateneo law dean Cesar L. Villanueva.
The public can still send questions for the candidates via Facebook and Twitter. Facebook account is “Judicial and Bar Council” while the Twitter account is SupremeCourtJBC.
The Facebook and Twitter accounts will be operational for the duration of the interviews. The public can post questions for the candidates from 8 am to 5 pm from July 24 to July 27.
This is the first time that the social media has been utilized by the JBC in screening candidates for judicial post.
