A DAWN quake that hit the Visayas forced some call center companies in Cebu City to suspend work for an hour out of fear yesterday.
A call center agent who requested anonymity said about 60 workers at the ELI Global Philippines in F. Ramos St., Cebu City, who occupied the eighth and ninth floors of the Bigfoot building, went outside after experiencing the tremor.
Engineer Neil Balaba, administrative officer of the Office of Civil Defense, said the quake did not cause injury or damage to Central Visayas. Correspondent Jhunnex Napallacan
