A MAN believed to be in his 20s drowned while swimming under the Marcelo Fernan Bridge in barangay Pusok, Lapu-Lapu City, yesterday afternoon.
The man’s body was recovered an hour after he was reported missing past 3 p.m. He was rushed to the Lapu-Lapu District Hospital where he was declared dead.
As of 8 p.m. yesterday, the man, who was reportedly mentally challenged, remained unidentified and has yet to be claimed by relatives.
The man’s body was brought to the Rolling Hills Funeral Homes in Mandaue City for autopsy./REPORTER JUCELL MARIE P. CUYOS
