MANILA, Philippines — Senator Panfilo Lacson revealed he has received P7 million for the movie rights to his life in exile while avoiding an arrest warrant for the murder of a publicist in 2000.

Lacson said the film would likely be released in November or December but refused to give more details.

The senator added that the movie would be vague about the exact whereabouts of his life abroad, to protect those who helped him during his exile.
